The Spanish fetish world is becoming more and more interesting. Into the Tank, the fetish party from Madrid, is going international. Last stop was a party during the London Fetish Week. Now David and some friends, real leather enthusiasts, have decided to organize a Mr. Leather Spain Contest.
From the 6th to the 8th of November, the Spanish leather community will have their get together in Benidorm at the Mediterranean coast between Alicante and Valencia, a touristic city which has a skyline as Manhattan has. Next to the beach in a skyscraper the election will happen during 3 days. Even if the event is in November, Benidorm will welcome you with a nice clima. You will really enjoy it. MasterMarc: Hello David. Tell us, how does it come, that you do organize this event and what is your motivation?
David: Well, i’m a leather lover, and i could visit Folsom Berlin, and the leather world is part of my life, but in Spain the leather world is hidden, so our intention is get out the spanish leathermen and show that we have hot leathermen and leather culture tooThis winter we thought how to show and aim people to participate and get some movement in the leather scene, and we believe the best plan to move and start again, would be the election of our Mr Leather, there is a lot of countries with his leatherman but not Spain since years ago.
MasterMarc: Can you tell us something about the event program?
David: We copied the idea of the IML event and decide to organize a hotel in which all the activities will take place. We wanna show the Spanish leather and bdsm community. We are planing several bondage performance, a puppy zone, several stands with shops and product presentations. There will also be a BLUF event on friday and of course parties in the club of the hotel.
MasterMarc: Do you expect many visitors and are you happy with the candidates you have?
David: Yeah, we expect the event will be a success, and that people spanish and foreigners will enjoy of all the thing we’re preparing. And yes i’m happy with the candidates too, i’m friend of most of them, and they are working with us to help in the promotion, they’re interested too in to show the spanish leather world to the visitors of the event.
MasterMarc: Can you tell me, why you don’t make a summer event, if you organize an event at the Mediterranean coast?
David: It was for several reason. One of them try avoid dates with other fetish events. In summer the prices are higher and the weather could be too hot for a leather event. So we have decided to run the event in November, when the weather is not too hot and there aren’t too much tourists here, so that we have more privacy.
