The Get-Together of the European Porn Scene
MasterMarc: Hi Ben, in more or less two weeks the next edition of the Prowler European Porn Award will bring a lot of porn actors, guys behind the cam and of course a lot of fans to London. During the last few years it has become the biggest porn award event of Europe and you are it’s president. How would you describe the event to guys who have never been at a porn award?
Ben Willis: It’s the one night of the year when 100’s of European Porn Stars come together in one place to meet their fans and to celebrate European Gay Porn. It’s also a night to meet up with other Porn Stars, studio owners and to be entertained by some top quality acts. This year, our hosts are Chi Chi LaRue and Mr. Pam, both incredible American Porn Directors. On stage to entertain we have British born, Lucas Entertainment exclusive James Castle, circus performer Danny Ash, International Drag, La Voix and a stunning Fashion Show put together by one of the UK’s best-loved retailers, Clonezone.
MasterMarc: Is it just an event for insiders of the porn industry or also an event where porn fans will have there fun?
Ben Willis: The event centers around the Industry and it’s many achievements, recognizing and rewarding those at the top of this industry but it also attracts 100’s of fans who are able to rub shoulders with their favorite Star, get autographs, chat with directors and get involved in the dark room
MasterMarc: Awards … that sounds like an event on which everyone is wearing a smoking and it is just about “to see and to be seen”. Is the Prowler Porn Award one of these events on which everyone is drinking champagne and having boring small talk?
Ben Willis: Small talk – no – I don’t think we have much small talk going on! With a room full of the most attractive men in European, the atmosphere is charged with sexual tension which gets released during the sex-fueled Afterparty. Nobody goes home with a full-load still in the ball sack ?
MasterMarc: Oh that sounds good and satisfying. Probably one of the reasons why some of the sadOsam team will also visit the event. 🙂 Oh yes, you have mentioned the Afterparty. Can you tell us a little more about it?
Ben Willis: By the time we get to the Afterparty, lots of friendships and been made and our guests are ready to shag! To help, we have live sex shows all through the night, GoGo Boys, and lap-dancers! This year we have live bondage demonstrations which will give the kinksters a place to handout and we are delighted that sadOSam’s very own Pup Se7en will be one of those available to play with ?
MasterMarc: But before the Afterparty there is still the award. You have a lot of nominees in different categories. Are they all at the event and when will you close the voting?
Ben Willis: Votes close at midnight on May 9th and I already know from the guest list that many of those nominated will be there on the night. This year we have 20 awards, each one awarded in accordance with the votes that are received. This one fact makes the Prowler European Porn Awards a shining example and an example to all other similar ceremonies.
