A heroic Pup on his Journey
Sev: Hey Hero. Thanks for taking some time for an interview with us. You’re quite a busy pup, aren’t you? I talked to you at Amsterdam Pride, but you’ve come around quite a bit again after that. Where have you all been and how was it?
Hero: Wruff! Only a little. Didn’t travel since the amazing Pride in Amsterdam. I attended a local Pride in Mannheim, Germany. A friend of mine organized the so called “march with the Misters”. A group of Leather- Rubbermen and elected Misters who where taking part of the parade. It’s always amazing celebrating a pride with many pups, but I was the only pupper at that little one. So I had the chance representing us and show the people what pupplay is. Did that by walkies at all four, almost the whole distance of the parade. Of course I where leashed by a leatherman, and was trained to heel, sit and so on, because sometimes I was to fast and become the peak of our group. But a pup need to be handled, right? So it really was fun!
Sev: Haha yeah, though we like to be cheeky and disobediant too sometimes 😉 It sounds like you had a great time and were a proud pup peak leader. But can I ask, how did all that begin for you? How did you stumble upon the pup-play world and what appealed to you?
Hero: Tumblr was my way “down the rabbit hole”. I came along pups on various networks quite earlier. Which was important to start the process to get used to it. I wasn’t attracted to it, neither got the idea of it, Alike I could never do such a silly thing. It’s a human habit to reject stuff by not understanding at first.
Well, I started to be curious about sexual puppers. Being sexual become my motivation. I noticed how diverse pups are, that different fetishes and sexual practices can be involved. How natural it all come along in a thing called pupplay. And of course, the gear appealed to me.
So by December 2015 wanking over tumblr pupmedia, there was a need to purchase gear out of the sudden. I felt related to the puppers sharing their media. Finally I understood how I can be enabled to express myself being submissive in a way I like. Because it’s about fun! The thing I misunderstood as silly back then. So I choose a hood, picked a tail and received the order January 2016. Needed a little time of practice getting the buttplug in, but within that day I became pup. It just felt right.
Sev: If it fits, it fits. 🙂 But you came quite a way from there. You travel to fetish and pride events and show your artsy kinky side to likeminded people all around the world with social media. What made you do that?
Hero: I sort of studied the pups on tumblr after I received my first puppygear. How to move, how to pose. In order to get the feeling being a puppy. After 4 months I had the desire to belong to them, to show up, get in touch with pups and handlers.
So I started a tumblr account, took my first selfie ever (literally the first) and uploaded it. Took further ones. All were hooded, and I discovered that I’m having fun taking them. But the feedback was low. It didn’t bother me. Found a new toy. An exciting one. The iPhone camera. I explored selfphotography and started to be me. With hood and without. Kinky, sexy, regular, pup, I mixed it all up. During that time I learned a lot about gaypride by watching RuPaul’s Dragrace. It really is an important piece of that mosaic because i started to be proud of myself. About the selfexpression I was capable of, I didn’t thought i am. About the puppy i became making that possible. And then I came across Instagram. Suddenly my media became noticed. Got in touch with a few pups and guys who where honestly interested in me. Something I missed on tumblr. The feedback on Instagram encouraged me to keep it going and I learned what social media can be, because I was making friends.
Sev: In all honesty, a bit of exhibitionism does come with it too, or am I wrong? 😉
Hero: I just don’t see myself as exhibionist. There is no sexual satisfaction because of the act of exposing itself. But it’s terminology.
Sev: I’m sorry if I misunderstood in that case. Thats an interesting Point of view. But pup-play did lead you a bit towards the world of kink, right? What did you all discover for yourself?
Hero: No need to be sorry pupper. By terminology I meant, terms can mean different things to different persons. So for some I am an exhibitionist, might be I am. But I just have something particular on mind, so I just can’t identify with.
Sev: What do you think did your kink journey brought you so far and how did it change you?
Hero: wags Definitely opened up the kink side! I was and I am still curious about various things but pupplay brought me chastity. I already had the experience of self-edging over a couple of days. But chastity is a level up. I wasn’t appealed to it, just wondered why so many pups do it. So I purchased a device and tried it out. It turned out as a fun toy. I consider it as a toy because you need the mindset as well. For me it’s not a torment. I just enjoy being insanely horny all the time. It can become a distraction, for example during office hours but you need to learn to deal with it. But it also supports me being a good boi, because I’m getting really eager to receive treats or a bone. But the most astonishing experiences of two chastity terms were ejaculating handsfree. First time by giving deepthroat, second time caused by Prostata. I didn’t expect me being capable of it, and it felt really really crazy. It was unstoppable, I felt everything of it, then there was a hot mess and I stayed horny. So alike a junky such experiences makes you want more. Desires fulfilled and even committed to try stuff out might not or not on top of the list. So it brought me leaving my comfortzone and be open to stuff even if I don’t understand it yet.
Sev: Haha a kink-junkie 🙂 well there are worse addictions. So what’s some stuff you would like to try out, but haven’t yet?
Hero: Top on the list is breathcontrol. I already like choking and stuff what can be part of pupplay by a collar and a leash as well. I imagine breathcontrol as the ultimate lost of control by trusting a partner. Letting lose, relying on someone who is responsible for you and takes care about you are keywords as in pupplay.
As long as I can relate to the spirit of pupplay I’m up for new stuff. Important in general is just the NOT humiliating character kink stuff going on with me has to have.
